When You Can't.....God Can

About 40 years ago a friend gave me a can with these words on the label:

When You Can't.... God Can.*

The can has a little slit on the top, like a piggy bank. You're able to put little slips of paper with your prayer requests, challenges, hopes, dreams, doubts, worries, or whatever you choose to write through that opening in the can. In essence, you are giving "it" to God.

I've used that can many times over the years. But for too many years, the God Can was sitting on a shelf in my closet. However, over the past couple of months it has been, and remains, sitting right in front of me. And I put my little slips of paper in the can.

The God Can is a visual reminder that all of my worries or fears are of no use in helping myself or anyone.

The God Can reminds me what kind of energy I want to hold in or invite into my heart and my whole being: Love, Peace, Possibility, Positivity, Joy, Courage, Abundance, and more Love.

The God Can reminds me of the power of prayer.

So, remember, When You Can't ....... God Can.

*It's a small world. My friend, who gifted me the God Can, was given the can by her daughter, who lived in Oregon and attended a church there. The church had developed the God Can. Then a few years ago, I saw a photo of a group of people outside their church and a little girl holding a God Can. The photo was 40+ years old. That little girl was the daughter of the Founder of The Brave Thinking Institute, Mary Morrisey. I trained and received my certification as a Life Coach from the Brave Thinking Institute. God does work in miraculous ways.
