What Are You Doing With Your Life? What's Your Purpose?

Okay, we're two weeks into this new year.


What do you want to discover, be, and do in 2025? Have you thought about it or are you living from day-to-day with no set plans, goals, dreams, or intentions?


Do you want 2025 to be different from 2024? (Seems like I've said all of this before. Please forgive me, if I have. It just seems important to and for so many people, including myself.)


You need to get intentional--with intentions--I intend to ________________.


What's your purpose? Why are you here? Who are you? What gifts,skills, and talents do you have? What are you good at? (sorry for the dangling preposition.)


You know, just your being here helps to make this world a better place. Really! Are you aware of that?


There are people who are thankful for your being in their lives, and they haven't told you. But each day and/or night they think of you. That's pretty amazing.


Think about your own life, and where you are thankful a certain person has crossed your path. Sometimes they may have been in your life for not more than five minutes. But they made a difference for you. If you have the opportunity, tell them thank you. If you don't have the opportunity, tell God and the Universe thank you.


I've discovered that when we're older, we start wondering if we have any purpose. Some cultures view their elders as wisdom figures, and seek them out to learn. Those are wise cultures. But many cultures view their elders as old with little to offer, and rarely see or talk with the elders in their own families. That's sad.


If you are an "elder," how do you view yourself?


I'm an elder and I still believe I have much to offer. I sound like a self-appointed wisdom figure:)


No matter your age, how do you want to be living your life? What are your hopes, dreams, goals? Write them down. Take action, even little tiny baby steps, each day to move you in the direction of your dreams.


Visualize/picture your dreams, and picture yourself in your dreams. Notice what you're feeling. What action can you take today to move you in the direction of your dream? Do this daily, or several times a day, and you will get clear on your purpose. And you will realize your dream.


Thank you for being a part of my life. You are a part of my dream come true. Thank you.
