What Am I Grateful for This Day?

It's pretty easy to let roll off our tongues the things we don't like, what irritates us, what scares us, everything that we think is wrong in our own lives, work, or in the world.


But what about what you're grateful for?


Pause....... Hmmmm...


We often list the same things or people each and every time we are asked what we are grateful for. (please ignore the dangling preposition)


Now challenge yourself to state only one thing or person that you haven't previously listed.


Each night after I've gotten into bed and my head is resting on my pillow, I ask myself, "What is the one thing I am grateful for this day?"


The question causes me to think back over my day. Sometimes my answers surpirse me. It's also a great way to end my day before going to sleep.
